For our longest episode yet, Reuben and Elliot get completely engrossed by a book inside a book, and the fictional(?) moral issues it discusses.
Blake spends a lot of time following the advice of ghosts, for someone who doesn’t want to be one.
When you review the Game of Thrones, you either give it 10, or you die. Elliot and Reuben discuss HBO’s little known gem “Game of Thrones”. Spoilers for all of season 1, as well as a few big ones from season 6 or so that Reuben is aware of through from osmosis. For next fortnight’s Prescription, we’re joined by special guest Scott Daly who is talking about Rocky (1976). This Prescription starts at 30:44.
Blake spends a lot of time following the advice of ghosts, for someone who doesn’t want to be one.
Blake makes some new friends and uses the opportunity to talk local gossip, existentially eerie erasure entities, and to get some cool new toys. Once he’s ready, he heads into the forbidden forest.
Blake takes a shower, writes a letter, and rides in a car too fast. His first 24 hours as a diabolist have really gone off of the rails.
Blake fights tooth and nail to escape Dowght’s residence. Luckily, he’s rescued last minute by his best friend Fell.
Blake, still sans Rose, tries binding a demon by winging it. After lengthy discussions about semantics and what laws can and cannot be broken, Blake succeeds, and now nothing is wrong at all.
We are joined again by special guest Matt Freeman to talk about what we thought of Pulp Fiction. I hope it’s better than the Pulp Fiction they put on my juice labels! 5% pulp? I WISH! Next time we will be talking about Game of Thrones. The prescription starts at 37:01.
